简介🥷🏿：Dr.Scott Parr, Ph.D. is an assistant professor at Embry-Riddle AeronauticalUniversity in the Civil Engineering Department. Dr. Parr also serves as Chairfor the Joint Subcommittee for Emergency Response of the TransportationResearch Board. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana StateUniversity specializing in Transportation Engineering and Emergency Management.Dr. Parr is published in many peer reviewed journals and has participated as anexpert panelist at conferences and workshops around the world. Dr. Parr alsoserves as a subject area expert for several journals such as the TransportationResearch Record, Journal of Emergency Management and American Society of CivilEngineer’s Natural Hazards Review. Dr. Parr has led research collaborationswith the United States Department of Transportation, Department of HomelandSecurity, Transit Security Administration and U.S. Nuclear RegulatoryCommission. Prior to his appointment at Embry-Riddle, Dr. Parr taught atCalifornia State University, Fullerton, and also served as Associate Directorof Research for the Gulf Coast Center for Evacuation and TransportationResiliency.
